CHALLENGE How do you communicate about suicide and mental wellness without triggering people in crisis? Right after the world went into COVID-19 lock-down, the Peer Support Centre was at a loss about how to communicate about sensitive topics. Their existing branding was only used to advertise their in person services and they had no way of publishing quick tips or actual resources on their social media channels.
SOLUTION This series of illustrations and resources gave users a way to access bite-sized information while not directly addressing triggering topics. The illustrations created a little peaceful world for the information to live digitally and allowed users who were not comfortable going to the Peer Support Centre website to casually engage with its content.
