CHALLENGE The Students’ Union Building (SUB)  houses 50+ services and businesses spread over 8 floors. It is usually the first building students will ever encounter on campus and acts as a home away from home for many. In order to help students access study spaces, get to appointments, and feel comfy in this space; a new wayfinding system was needed

SOLUTION  By simplifying room outlines, and using colour-coding to help define different groupings of services the new maps are more visually accessible. Additional map placement around the building heps anchor users at “intersections”.
